Thanks for the help my friends. But ............... it seems my old laptop met his match. If I render the Gorilla all by itself it works. Takes a while to show, but eventually ... it works. But once I put it in an environment my laptop goes into a break :-) So I guess I have to wait untill I can finally afford a decent/modern computer or have to do seperate renders and merge them in Photoshop.

Hey guys and girls, just bought the DAZ Gorilla Genisis 8 male figure. It comes with Dforce hair. But if I load, it only shows blocks. If I apply materials it gives and error. Checking the log file it seems to be a problem connecting to a database. When I start DAZ it gives a warning that a PostgreSQL CMS database cannot be established. Does this have something to do with it, or is it something else. Just spend $ 20 bucks on this baby and don't wan't it to be for nothing.
